Jurgis Oniunas

Jurgis is the Managing Partner of IMAP Southeast Europe. In 2014, he was also elected Chairman of IMAP, Inc. and has been successfully leading the partnership ever since.

Jurgis is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee at Invera Private Equity Partners. He started his career at Ebasco Services Incorporated, one of the largest US engineering firms specializing in power generation and infrastructure projects, where he spent 15 years, reaching the position of Vice President of Business Development for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Jurgis then focused on entrepreneurship and gained another 15 years of experience identifying and developing emerging business opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe, before founding Ascendant Capital Advisors (today IMAP SEE) in 2003.

Jurgis holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the New York University, Stern School of Business, a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Columbia University, Fu School of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
