RSJ Agro Acquired Investment Interest in Seller's Business František Král

IMAP Czechia advised the seller on finalizing the sale of remaining minority shares in František Král, organic s.r.o. to RSJ Agro, a subfund of Czech investment company RSJ Investments. RSJ entered into František Král in 2019 by acquiring a 50% share and has been gradually increasing its shareholding up to 100%. IMAP Czechia has been continuously supporting the seller during the time since the first stage of the transaction in 2019 till final settlement of the remaining minority shares sold in 2022.

 

František Král, organic s.r.o. was established as a family-run organic farm building on family tradition re-established right after the fall of communism in 1991. Later on it has grown to the position of the largest all-organic farm in the region of Moravia. The Company farms over 1,250 hectares of land and focuses on organic production of wheat, maize grain, soybean, potatoes, pumpkin and helianthus seeds, barley, and millet. Král organic sells certified organic products to food processors, wholesalers and retailers in Czechia but mostly EU markets.

 

RSJ Agro focuses on the acquisition and subsequent long-term operation of agricultural companies that are focused on conventional and ecological agricultural production. It is particularly interested in the production of cereals and livestock, particularly cattle, in both conventional and eco modes.
