IMAP advises Mubea on the acquisition of INAUXA

IMAP advised Mubea on the successful acquisition of the Spanish automotive supplier INAUXA, from Grupo Tudos Reunidos.

Muhr und Bender KG (“Mubea”), headquartered in Attendorn, has acquired 100% of the shares of Spanish-based INAUXA S.A. and EDAI from Grupo Tudos Reunidos.

INAUXA is a Tier I automotive supplier with 330 employees operating at production plants in Spain, Mexico and China. In 2015, the company generated sales of €55 million. INAUXA’s product portfolio includes chassis and structural components, as well as transmission components. INAUXA will be integrated into the Chassis Division of Mubea and will strengthen Mubea’s stabilizer bars product offering.

Mubea is a leading automotive supplier providing heavy duty spring components and related products. The lightweight construction specialist currently employs 11,000 people, operating at 29 locations in 17 different countries. In 2015, Mubea generated sales of approximately €1.8 billion.

Completion of the transaction is subject to the regulatory approval of the relevant antitrust authorities.
