IMAP advises HENGE Group on the acquisition of KOMINEX

The HENGE Group acquires the business activities of KOMINEX Mineralmahlwerk GmbH, including the location and production facility in Falkenstein, Saxony-Anhalt and will continue activities under the name KOMINEX Minerals + Processing. The transaction is a strategic addition to the HENGE Group's portfolio, providing further growth potential in the minerals sector.

KOMINEX is a historically grown company with its own mineral grinding mill and a large number of quality products for the most diverse applications in the fields of blasting and surface technology, high-pressure water jet cutting, refractory industry, wear protection for industrially used floors and the preservation of historical monuments. In addition to processing and trading in minerals, the service portfolio also includes the disposal and recycling of cutting, blasting and abrasive waste.

The seller, listed Opta Minerals Inc., is North America's leading integrated and globally active processing and distribution specialist for mineral materials with its headquarters in Waterdown, Canada and other business units in the USA and Europe.

The HENGE Group is a trading and logistics company operating throughout Europe. Its product portfolio ranges from electrical minerals and special building materials, to logistics and recycling services.

The transaction was supported by IMAP in Germany and managed by Karl Fesenmeyer (Managing Director) and Mario Flory (Senior Project Manager).
