Burkhard Weber joins IMAP as Partner

Dr. Burkhard Weber joined the partners group of IMAP in Germany as of March 1, 2018 as co-head Industrials with specialist expertise in machinery and plant engineering, capital goods, building products as well as pulp & paper. 

Burkhard joins IMAP as a former Managing Director of US investment bank Raymond James where he helped setup and develop their industrials M&A business in Germany. Prior he served as a Managing Director of the M&A boutique Lincoln International for seven years, first in Frankfurt and later based in New York where he led multiple cross-border corporate acquisitions and disposals of German and US corporates. He advised Würth Group and Bilfinger on several transactions in the US market. 

In 2007 Burkhard was hired as a Managing Director and Partner of Close Brothers Corporate Finance (aka DCAdvisory), the German affiliate of UK based investment bank Close Brothers. Back in 1996 Burkhard started his career in transaction advisory at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he finally served as a member of the wider M&A management team for Germany.
