Daniel Labrecque

Daniel Labrecque founded DNA Capital in 2009 and has over 30 years of corporate advisory and international M&A experience.

Prior to founding DNA Capital, he was Chief Executive Officer of Rothschild Canada and prior to that was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Lazard Canada. He has also held the position of Managing Director of Schroders Canada, where he was responsible for starting Schroders plc’s investment banking operations in this country.

Earlier career postings include positions of increasing responsibility at National Bank Financial, Royal Bank of Canada, and Raymond Chabot Martin Paré. 

Daniel is a long-standing member of the Board of Directors of INSEAD and is a Past President of the INSEAD International Alumni Association. He is a former Director of the CD Howe Institute and former Chairman of Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal. He is also actively involved with Centraide of Greater Montreal since 2004.

Daniel holds a B.Comm. from HEC Montréal and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
