David is a Managing Director at MPA and co-founded the firm with Brent Walker. He is responsible for transaction origination and execution, financial advisory and capital raising activities across a wide spectrum of industry segments.
Having begun his finance career in the early 1980s, David has been responsible for over $20 billion of financing transactions, ranging from complex structured finance transactions to derivative trades, to debt and equity IPO's and practically every transaction type in between. Prior to co-founding the firm, David spent more than 15 years in the investment banking and financial industry. From 1996 to 2004 he was a Senior Investment Banker at Scotia Capital Inc.
David holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a BSc from the University of Toronto.
