Hughes Beernaert is Executive Director of Degroof Petercam Investment Banking (Belgium). He started his career in 1993 at Deutsche Bank in Brussels and Frankfurt. He joined Bank Degroof in 1997 as co-head of the credit department before joining Degroof Petercam Investment Banking
Hughes was in charge of numerous M&A and capital market transactions mainly in the public sector, energy sector and real estate sectors.
He holds a Master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven and a LLM from Universität des Saarlandes.
