Jeffrey Smith

Jeff is a Senior Managing Director of Pinnacle Inc. (IMAP Japan). He has over 20 years experience advising on Japan-related cross-border M&A. Jeff covers transactions between Japanese corporates and firms in a wide range of geographies including Asia, Americas, Europe and various emerging markets. His previous sector experience includes Telecom, Technology, Consumer, Industrials, Real Estate and Private Equity.

Based in Tokyo, Jeff previously served as Vice President in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs and Director in the Financial Sponsors Group of UBS Investment Bank. Before that, he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston Securities in the M&A Group in New York and Tokyo.

Jeff has a BA Cum Laude in Economics & Mathematics from Yale University.
