Peter A. Koch is a Managing Director of IMAP in Germany. Previously, he gained many years of experience as an Executive Director of one of the biggest German cooperative banks, where he conducted the corporate client business.
He is a member of the General Assembly of IHK Rhein-Neckar and lectures on various M&A topics as part of the “Corporate Finance” course at the International School of Management (ISM).
Peter is responsible for transactions of medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region. Furthermore, he is an expert in succession planning, specifically for owner-managed companies, as well as for the complex area which is corporate financing. This includes questions regarding company specific capital structures, considering the points system bank systems utilize for credit ratings. Additionally he specializes in bank independent financing, particularly in connection with mergers, acquisitions and restructuring.
